I Discovered This Artist Blog Today And I Love Her Work

I was browsing the WWW today and came across this artandghost Blog today.

I couldn't find her name all I can give you about her is her link to her blog.
I love her work, when I see her art all these emotions flood me at one time.
It is a mixture of sadness,happiness,mystery,untapped possibilities,things to be discovered,my own hidden talent waiting to be explored more,surreal,
hidden,revealed,solitude,openness,and artistic.

A memory comes to mind of when I worked as a caregiver taking care of the
mentally ill and the disabled.
We had our usual staff meeting and sometimes we had holiday.
They put us in groups and gave us some items to make a person into a snowman.
I cannot fully remember what all the items were but 1 of them was 1 roll of toilet paper and 2 buttons.
We had to make this person look like a snowman the best we could and had only 5 minutes to do it.Well ours wasn't so great and this other group did a great job and won.Sometimes people give you things to do that is meant to be fun and positive and don't realize that for some it can be negative.
At the time this made me feel uncreative and blocked.
I didn't come to the realization until 2 years later that I am creative but my brain is not one of those kind that can be put on a timer.
It takes me time and a long process to create.
So if your a person like me and this happens to you don't let it bother you.
If you enjoy drawing and doing anything in the artistic realm and don't get recognition for it don't take it personally.
When I was younger I used to draw allot but I never saw art in myself and I wasn't passionate about it.But I am now and that's all that matters.

Today Mom has a terrible headache,
She wanted to write some stuff on here but she just can't concentrate because of the pain one of those terrible headaches where Tylenol,or advil,and stuff isn't getting rid of it.So today she is going to just post other stuff up.

Hang (Hang Drum)

Due to YouTube recently featuring of one of my videos, some people have asked how to buy some of my mp3's, you can sample and get songs at the bottom of the page.

Hang means "hand" in the Bernese language, and is pronounced "hung or hong". The Hang was developed in Switzerland. It was the result of many years of research on the steelpan and the study of the diverse collection of instruments from around the world, such as Gongs, Gamelan, Ghatam, drums, bells, etc. The instrument is played with the hands. Udu-like sounds are produced with the air resonance, the sounds of the clamped shallow shells sound like bells or harmonically tuned steelpans. The inner note on the bottom dome is the bass note, and when played in a dampened way allows change in pitch like a talking drum. Seven to nine notes are tuned harmonically around a central deep note. The hemispehres are hardened by a process known as gas-nitriding. This is a thermal treatment process in which nascient hydrogen atoms diffuse into the steel and form nitride compounds with many of the alloys in the steel.

Alice: Nobody ever tells us to study the right things we do. We're only supposed to learn from the wrong things. But we are permitted to study the right things OTHER people do. And , sometimes, we are even told to copy them.

Mad Hatter: That's cheating !

Alice: You're quite right Mr Hatter. I do live in a topsy turvy world. It seems as if I have to do something wrong first in order to learn from that what not to do. And then, by not doing what I'm not supposed to do, perhaps I'll be right. But I'd rather be right the first time, wouldn't you?

Wow Yesterday Was Like My Birthday

I thought today was going to be a regular day.
My parents had left and were gone a long time,much to my surprise they came home with allot of stuff.They called me over and I came out of my house and wow they got me a blue roller ball just right for my size I had to try it out it is so much better then the bigger yellow ball I ran around like a marathon.
Then later on I went back into my house and saw they had gotten me a new water bottle so now I can drink better from it,also they got me a big tree trunk chew with holes.I love running through it and chewing on it,then in my food bowl was a new kind of food it has all kinds of goodies in it,so my day was pretty big.

Love Neshka...PS Boo your next now mom gets to play around with your pictures*giggles*
Also to Jamie and Mimi Mom is still working on your gifts yes I know she is so slow but she is doing them.
She will be posting her pictures up when they are finished.
She is also in the process of learning French Beaded Flower
making.....so in the million zillion things she has yet to create it will get done.

I Like Attention

Hello there,
Whenever my parents walk over to my cage and start talking I always run up to the cage and climb up to get a better look and to let them know hey I want to be noticed.
I know their hands are to big for my cage but I just can't help myself every time my Dad opens the side door and holds his hand down I grab his finger and try to drag him in. I wish they could come in my house to play.

Hi there I am Neshka russian Dwarf hamster, my name means pure.

I came to my new adoptive parents on Saturday January 5th.
I am so happy with my new home and love having a place of my own.
I am very sweet and love attention and to be held.
They decided on my name a bit ago and agreed on Neshka.
I even liked having my pictures taken so here are my pics.






The start of my journal.
Yesterday I was at the pet store waiting for a new home and luckily these 2 good people found out that they could have me and took me to their home.
So now it is great I have a new family and a great pad of my own.
I love the food they gave me it is the special mix with vitamins.
I have enjoyed tidying up my place to how I want it and running in the wheel.
I love to be held to and to be paid attention to.
This is all I have for now.
Also I have decided to be Boo Dogs friend to so Hello Boo Dog.

Sorry To Say Wooky Passed Over

We are sorry to say that Wooky passed over to another place.
He was a wonderful Hamster and will always be in our memories....
We are keeping his journal and have a new hamster we adopted from Petco.
We feel good about our new hamster and have given her a new home that she very much needed....We now turn this journal over to her.

My Family Stuffed More Then Me

I thought I was the one who could stuff the most was I wrong!!!!
I watched my parents and family as they crammed and crammed some more until they all laid around groaning in stuffed agony about how much they ate but how good it was......They watched some comedy called Evan Almighty and laughed and said oh it hurts to laugh ahhhh ahha hahahahahahaha.
The house smelled wonderful it wasn't necessarily the turkey but the smell of bread and some types of vegetables and fruit.
If I could have gotten out of my cage to go nibble on some tidbits I would have had a field day.....To my surprise I wasn't forgotten and my parents gave me some treats.....They gave me some Trail mix with dried pineapple,apricots,raisins,cashew nuts,coconut,papaya,and Yogurt treats.
I also got to get to run in my wheel while they watched Evan Almighty.
So Thanks Giving was really good....food_stuffer

Keep On Stuffing

Hello ....food_stuffer here.
Not in the mood to put much so my day was a good one.
I ran in my wheel allot and stuffed my cheeks with some yogurt treats and other goodies.....I ran through my tunnels and I got my exercise going up and down upstairs and downstairs.
I wanted to chew on my cage but I had a terrible memory to remind me not to.
My keepers had left and I got my teeth wrapped around the cage door and couldn't move....They came home and had noticed I had a problem.Luckily the man gently grabbed my mouth and moved my body around and got me unstuckI will never do that again

It's good being a Hamster I have no complaints I love stuffing my cheeks it's the greatest....I feel pity for humans really they are always worrying about how they look and stuff but me I'm happy with myself and nobody complains about me being fat nope in fact they think it's cute when I have my cheeks stuffed full.
Maybe humans need to take lessons from me lighten up!!!!

Starting My Journal

Allo..... There,

I'm a cheeky Hamster with a big imagination.

Maybe instead of stuffing my cheeks all the time,I'll stuff my Journal.

I hope to meet other animals on here.

Maybe some other owners will start being imaginative with their pets thoughts.

I leave it to my owner for that and hope they get it right most of the time.

This is an outlet to push the thoughts beyond the box that keeps it.

It is my hope that my thoughts can be pushed beyond those limits.

So this is my experiment.

My days as a Hamster are pretty simple really but for my human counterpart I can't say the same.....this Journal is therapy.

There will be more to come...so for now I'm off to find a friend.
